Posted November 10, 2018 11:23:10 The new Brentwoods Golf Course in Brent, North Carolina, is the latest in a long line of new golf courses built by the City of Brent.
The new golf course was unveiled on Wednesday, October 13, 2018 at the New Jersey Golf Course at Lakewood, NJ.
The course will be open to the public for the first time in September 2018.
The golf course will have two courses at the front and the back, with the third course at the back being a private facility.
The courses will be used by the Brentwood Recreation and Parks Department for recreational use.
Brentwood Mayor James McNeil said the golf course has been designed to be environmentally friendly and is the first to offer golf in the area.
McNeil also said the project will make the Brentwoods a “green” community.
The Brentwood Golf Course has a green roof that protects the course and the surrounding areas from the elements.
McNeilly said the new golf will feature a number of features, including green grass, a hole in the ground, a large tee box, a bunk, a basket, and a water feature.
The green roof will provide shade for golfers on the course.
The city also will install a solar panel and a video board on the clubhouse wall.
New Jersey’s Brentwood City Council member, David A. Cimperman, said the city was excited to see the Brent Woods Golf Course open.
“We are very proud of our efforts to provide our residents with quality recreational opportunities and will work closely with the City to make the new courses the best we can,” he said in a statement.
The City of Camden has been a member of the Brent Golf Club since 1999, and has maintained the BrentWood golf course since 2008.
Camden is one of the first cities to receive the National Golf Center, and will host the 2019 U.S. Open on Saturday, November 6, 2019.
