Willowbrook Golf Club in New Jersey is opening its doors for the first time in its 110-year history in 2019.
The new course, named for the Willows’ northernmost hill, is expected to open in 2018 and offer about 400 holes.
The club will open with a private club for the summer and a public one for the winter.
The two will open together, but not necessarily with the same course.
The course is owned by the Willoughbys, who own the nearby Willoughby Country Club and the nearby Country Club at Willowbrook.
Willowbrook will be a new addition to the New Jersey course catalog and will not be the same as the other courses at Willowridge.
Willowbrook will have the same number of holes as the previous two courses.
The first hole is scheduled for August 21, 2019.
Willoughbrook Golf Center will have a total of more than 1,000 holes on the course, with more to come in the future.
The course will feature a two-hole par-3, par-5 and par-8 course.
