A venue for small-scale, miniature golf courses in New York City is being built in Brooklyn, and a video has surfaced of it.
The video shows an event at the Coursing, a large indoor/outdoor venue for miniature golfers in Manhattan, which was shown on Tuesday.
The video, uploaded to Coursing’s YouTube channel, shows that the venue was opened in early January.
“We’re very excited to be opening up our first venue for the world of miniature golf,” Coursing president, David Grosvenor, said in the video.
“It’s been a dream of mine for the last few years.
It’s been my dream to open up a venue where people can come play golf and enjoy the game without having to spend $20,000 on an indoor course.”
The venue, which is being called the “World of Courses,” will have two lanes, and it’s likely to be open to all types of golfers.
The Coursing website says it is not affiliated with the Courses, but that it has been a “long-time partner” of the golf club.
“Our goal with this is to provide a place where people feel welcome, where they feel safe,” Grosvinor said in a statement.
“We want the game to be a safe place to play.
And when people feel safe and secure, they are more likely to play the game.”
According to Courses website, the venue is expected to open in 2020.
Grosvener said in an interview with the New York Times that the building will be the first of its kind in New England.
“This is the first one in New Jersey.
We are hoping to open more in the coming years,” he said.
The venue will also be open for regular-season play, which will be offered as a “special event.”
