FourFour2 has uncovered some of the world’s most interesting stories about the Indian ocean tsunami, with stories about India, the Maldives and South Africa.
One story in particular caught our attention.
This video is about the story of a boat which was stranded on the island of Jalan Bay, and was towed away by the Japanese army.
The boat was a passenger vessel that was heading to the island, but was intercepted by the troops who wanted to search for her.
There were around 20 Japanese soldiers on board and a lot of them had weapons.
The Japanese soldiers took the boat to the Japanese island of Kola, where they searched for her for several days.
Then they returned to Jalan bay and they were able to retrieve her.
